Overview

The Contracts Administrator provides support functions to the Contract Manager of the Logistics & Operations division and collaborates with the senior management team to assist project and program managers. Responsibilities include contract administration (e.g., contracts, subcontracts, task orders), SBA 8(a) reporting, HUBZone certification, SBA Mentor Protégé Program, SBA Joint Ventures, and quality management. The role also supports business development, proposal development, project finance, accounting, budgeting, and project transitions.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Assist in drafting, evaluating, negotiating, and executing various contract types (FFP, T&M, Labor Hour, Cost Reimbursable, Cost Plus, FPIF hybrids).
  • Maintain relationships with clients and suppliers; serve as a point of contact for contractual matters.
  • Keep accurate records of contractual correspondence and documentation.
  • Ensure contract administration compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor contract performance, execute renewals, extensions, and close-outs.
  • Resolve contract issues with external parties and internal teams.
  • Recognize non-compliance and business challenges affecting corporate compliance.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal writing, market research, and conference attendance.
  • Advise project managers on contracts, subcontracts, and task orders.
  • Complete special projects and operational reports; assist with financial management and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required;
    Master’s preferred. Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Minimum 5 years of contract, subcontract, and task order management experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of operational or administrative experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Understanding of government contract administration, FAR, and agency regulations.
  • Experience with various contract types and modifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and automation tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Spanish language skills are preferred.
  • Knowledge of business development and proposal processes.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government SECRET clearance if required.
Physical & Travel Requirements

Occasional physical activity; ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Domestic and international travel required.
