AboutThe Role
We are seeking a highly organized Contract Manager to support technology procurement, contract administration, and vendor coordination efforts within a large IT organization. This role focuses on managing the full lifecycle of IT‑related contracts, coordinating with procurement and legal stakeholders, monitoring financial and performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with purchasing and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities- Initiate, develop, and manage information technology‑related contracts throughout their full lifecycle.
- Support contract planning, development, execution, modification, renewal, and closeout activities.
- Coordinate with procurement, legal, and IT stakeholders to ensure compliance with purchasing and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and support requests for proposals (RFPs) and related procurement documentation.
- Facilitate procurement activities including kickoff meetings, proposal reviews, approval tracking, and contract routing.
- Monitor financial aspects of assigned contracts, including funding, burn rate, and expenditures.
- Track contract performance, scope, renewals, expirations, and amendments.
- Coordinate vendor performance monitoring, issue resolution, and change management activities.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical contract documentation and records.
- Communicate contract processes, conditions, and status updates clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Maintain schedules, calendars, meeting agendas, notes, action items, and follow‑ups related to contract activities.
- Support general project coordination and administrative activities as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of experience in contract management or contract administration.
- 2+ years of experience providing administrative or coordination support within an IT organization.
- 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure concepts.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience supporting IT purchasing or procurement activities in government environments (federal, state, or local).
- Experience managing or supporting high‑profile programs or enterprise IT initiatives.
- Familiarity with vendor management, contract performance tracking, and compliance monitoring.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Ability to work onsite as required.
