Warehouse Order Picker – 1st Shift

Rate: $18.50

Shift: 1st Shift

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Inspect assigned equipment on a daily basis, ensuring safe operation and adherence to prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accurate count and types.
• Move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, free of damage, and report quality variances.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee tight inventory control and security.
• Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Follow customer requirements and other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and safety of loading/unloading.
• Coordinate with other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, cleaning as you go.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to leadership.
• Follow corporate and site‑specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED; three or more years of related experience and/or training; or comparable combination of education and experience.
• Successfully complete post‑hire assessments.
• Obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA, company).
• Wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment in accordance with safety policies (protective footwear, eyewear, gloves, etc.).
