Senior Manager, Operations

DP World is seeking a driven and hands‑on Senior Operations Manager to lead frontline teams in a fast‑paced warehouse and logistics environment at Fairburn, GA

• Manage the daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery of commodities to the customer.
• Interface with customers to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence; provide input on local conditions, identify needs, and receive direction on real‑time staffing increases or decreases.
• Enact contingency plans as needed; elevate and direct activities during system problems, disasters, etc.; identify potential problems, troubleshoot, raise issues to local and senior management, and participate in post‑mortem analysis of problems to provide input for future process improvements.
• Review ongoing performance results against targets. Take corrective measures with authorization, escalating as needed.
• Provide effective leadership to Warehouse Managers and/or teams, enforcing company standards and acting as a role model.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Progressive experience in professional‑level operational and plant management duties; preferably in automotive or logistics industry.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints; write documents using original or innovative techniques or style; make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle several abstract and concrete variables.
• Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
