• Cashier/Checker is responsible for greeting, engaging, and assisting customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handle various tenders, and adhere to company policies.
• Follow guidelines on cash shortages, restricted sale items, and report discrepancies.
• Comply with food safety, safety procedures, and maintenance protocols.
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product inquiries.
• Follow all legal and company guidelines, work cooperatively, and manage conflicts appropriately.
• Support and assist diverse customer groups, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Customer service experience
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
