Russian Language Research Analyst Intern
Location: Fairborn, OH (Dayton, OH area)

Position OverviewRiverside Research is seeking applicants for a Russian Language Research Analyst Intern to work in Dayton, OH. This internship will provide hands‑on experience supporting research and analysis for our customer. Interns will assist in sourcing, translating, organizing, analyzing, and summarizing information on topics of interest. Under the guidance of senior analysts, interns will translate foreign language text, audio, or video content;
help prepare reference materials; contribute to draft research papers; and may support the development of formal briefings.
- Source, translate, organize, analyze, and summarize information on topics of interest from foreign research publications, peer‑reviewed articles, papers, audio files, or video clips.
- Prepare reference documents, draft research papers, present findings in formal briefings, and populate databases with key information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must live in or relocate to a commutable distance to Fairborn, OH.
- Ability to obtain a Top‑Secret clearance with SCI adjudication.
- Enrolled in or have completed at least 3 years of instruction toward a bachelor's degree in International Affairs, Area Studies, Economics, Intelligence Studies, or any STEM discipline.
- Intermediate to advanced language proficiency in Russian.
- Experience with web‑based research.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self‑motivated, independent, detail‑oriented, responsible team player.
- Currently enrolled in a master's or Ph.D. program in International Affairs, Area Studies, Economics, Intelligence Studies, or any STEM discipline.
- Knowledge of Russian political, military, and/or university systems.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Russian culture.
- Experience conducting research in technical areas in Russian.
- Experience conducting research as part of a team.
- Strong briefing skills with experience presenting material in a public forum.
$28.00/hr to $30/hr—typical compensation based on experience, location, and other factors.
