What does Brice Equipment LLC do?

Brice Equipment provides electrical, mechanical, and equipment services to support oil, gas, and construction operations throughout Alaska. Our fleet includes 400+ pieces of equipment designed for extreme environments, ranging from heavy construction machinery to mobile support equipment. We aim to help projects move forward and to provide opportunities to grow skills and advance careers.

Position

Title:

Tire Service Technician – Fairbanks, AK (field and shop work).

What can you expect?
  • As the Tire Service Technician, you will be responsible for all repairs and replacements of construction-related equipment tires.
  • The role may require after-hours work (6:00 am–6:00 pm) for after-hours call outs.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions from the shop Foreman and Operations Manager are required.
  • Fast-paced environment with changing priorities; ability to stay focused and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
How will you do it?
  • Repair and replacement of all types of construction-related equipment tires (from light truck to loader tires).
  • Work in extreme weather conditions during field service calls.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and document activity through work orders.
  • Work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate well over the phone or radio with customers and supervisors.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and customer service.
  • Complete work orders and inventory of tires and materials used during the service call.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and assist in other shop areas as needed.
  • Handle scrap (take-off tires) and place in designated area.
  • Operate in a safe and alert manner; perform other duties as directed.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) years of experience as a tire service technician.
  • Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate under the company’s Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screenings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Equipment maintenance/repair experience.
  • Experience in construction equipment-related tire service.
  • CDL is preferred.
Working Environment

Outdoor work in harsh weather; may require after-hours work as needed.
