Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.Help customers load bags into their cars.Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.Inform customers of grocery specials.Return merchandise to shelves and gather shopping carts.Clean spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with price checks and product location.Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.Perform preventive maintenance checks on equipment and report repairs.Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.Follow all applicable laws, guidelines, and store policies.Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.Qualifications
