The RN Coordinator supports accurate results, timely care decisions, and a positive patient experience, making stress testing a reliable and trusted part of cardiovascular care in the clinic.

- Compensation $38.24 - $63.35 hourly wage based on experience and education

- Shifts Available Full Time;
Days; 40hr/wk; 5x 8-hour shifts Monday thru Friday
- Coordinating, planning, and directing the daily functioning and staffing needs of the unit or department under the guidance of the Clinical Services Manager.
- Providing leadership, positive role modeling, and critical thinking skills to facilitate staff development.
- Serving as a liaison between all disciplines by effectively communicating, educating, and problem solving.
- Proactively supporting the quality and continuity of services throughout the healthcare systems.
- Assisting in the resolution of systems issues and enforcing unit/department policy/procedures and standards of care.
- Assisting in evaluations, disciplinary and hiring functions and other duties under the direction of the Clinical Services Manager.
- Coordinating oversight of quality, risk management, safety and nursing standards, and acting as a resource person for providing quality patient care.
- Determining and directing staffing needs of unit/department on a shift-to-shift basis.
- Facilitating staff-to-patient ratios in a fiscally responsible manner under the direction of the Clinical Services Manager.
- Coordinating, supporting and facilitating continuity of care and communication between departments, institutions and across the continuum.
- Assisting in the oversight of staff and workflow of patients, facilitating interdepartmental teamwork, and overseeing resource utilization for the department.
- Participating in the evaluation process by giving input.
- Contributing to society through activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes through timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and safe care.
- Actively participating in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes.
- Supervising staff when required.
- Coordinating and overseeing the stress testing process, ensuring appropriate patient preparation, monitoring, documentation, and post-test follow-up while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and cardiology best practices.
Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, or temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
Experience in the clinical area for which the applicant is applying is desired. Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations.
Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred. Professional certification preferred. Previous experience in a leadership role preferred.
