Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic or hospital setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience with a variety of injection techniques and medications.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and potential medication interactions.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Experience in an addiction related field.
- General office environment:
Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels. - Administers injections in designated injection room for patient comfort.
- Standing for extended periods and occasional lifting may be required.
