Overview
Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our highly experienced team at the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital Wound & Ostomy Clinic.
The Opportunity:
Join our dedicated team at the outpatient Wound and Ostomy Clinic at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, where you'll play a key role in providing individualized, evidence-based care. This position offers the opportunity to manage acute and chronic wounds and provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative ostomy care. You'll be supported by experienced physicians and certified wound care nurses who are highly invested in their work and our patients.
- Compensation: Pay starts at $82.76/hr and increases with experience.
- Schedule: M-F outpatient clinic. Flexible per diem scheduling. No call, no nights, no weekends.
- Patient Panel: Outpatient setting focusing on acute and chronic wound management, ostomy care, and patient education.
- Team: Work alongside a collaborative and highly experienced team, including a robust PRN provider staff with 70+ years of combined experience. Our medical director provides strong leadership and support, contributing to a professional and positive work environment.
Per Diem Staff are eligible for:
- 401K participation
- Reimbursed License, Board Certification, Med Staff Fees
- Lodging while on assignment
- Travel reimbursement to and from Fairbanks for assignment

Qualifications:
Must be approved to practice by the State Joint Board on the Regulation of Physician's Assistants. NCCPA certification required. Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.
Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management. Must have sufficient experience, confidence, and judgment to function with little outside direction. Ability to maintain CME currency as required to maintain NCCPA certification. Requires personal DEA license.
