Position: CT Technologist (CT Tech) - Inpatient

Overview

Foundation Health Partners (FHP) is looking for Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists to join the Inpatient team. Pay and benefits are described below. For more information about FHP’s CT services .

Pay & Benefits
  • Compensation: $36.44 to $58.30 hourly wage based on experience and education
  • Retention Bonus: $40,000 for eligible new hires
  • Relocation Assistance: up to $7,500
  • Temporary Housing: 90 days provided

    Shift differential, annual increases, paid time off

  • Shifts Available
  • 2 full-time: 36 hours/week, 3x12 hour shifts

Shift Differentials Available: $2.00/hr weekend, $2.50/hr evening, $6.00/hr night.

Responsibilities
  • Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers  orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures.
  • Educates patients/families regarding the procedure or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior and fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources, and quality patient outcomes.
  • Produces high-quality images and presents them with pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Maintains accurate documentation.
  • Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures as applicable and in accordance with established policies.
  • Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements. troubleshoots and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance. Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Adheres to safety policies.
  • Accountable for ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to radiology practice, including maintaining confidentiality of all work information.
  • Ensures efficient department workflow. Monitors and maintains adequate inventory of supplies to prevent service interruptions.

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and applicable professional standards. Delivers excellent service by upholding core and leadership behaviors daily.

Qualifications

Education & Certification

  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
  • National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable
  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty required within 18 months of hire if applicable
  • BLS certification required

Experience

  • Typically requires 2 years of clinical knowledge and demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills
  • Foundation Health Registry and Travel positions require a minimum of one year in an acute care hospital setting, with recent experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
