Tanana Valley Clinic 1st Care, a walk-in medical clinic, is seeking an advanced practice provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their highly experienced and growing team.

The Opportunity

Tanana Valley Clinic 1st Care is an ED-light clinic that manages a variety of health concerns, including orthopedic injuries, minor traumas, acute and chronic illness, and pediatric complaints. Our team provides advanced diagnostics through our on-site lab and radiology, with efficient access to an advanced imaging center. As the go-to community provider for walk-in care, you can expect that every day will present new and exciting challenges.

  • Compensation :
    Base plus production model. $135,000 base salary with an anticipated $110,000 to $123,200 in production pay, for an estimated total compensation between $245,164 and $258,364 annually. $40,000 sign-on bonus.
  • Benefits :
    Full employee benefits, medical, vision, dental, 401k.
  • Schedule :
    Three 12-hour shifts per week, 156 shifts per year. No on-call duties. 7 weeks ATO and 2 weeks for CME.
  • Patients :
    Average of 30 patients per day, ages 2 days to 99 years
  • Team : 11 providers who work independently in a collegial and collaborative environment.

Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be approved to practice by the State Joint Board on the Regulation of Physician's Assistants. NCCPA certification required. Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.

Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management. Must have sufficient experience, confidence, and judgment to function with little outside direction. Ability to maintain CME currency as required to maintain NCCPA certification. Requires personal DEA license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced degree preferred. ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and/or Neonatal Resuscitation certifications desirable.
