Do you have a passion to teach and help others reach their educational and employment goals? UAF's Community and Technical College is looking for part-time instructors/adjunct faculty to instruct and advise students. As an adjunct faculty you will help prepare graduates to work in occupations that keep our communities running and safe and contribute to Alaska's growth.
Adjunct positions are on a semester-by-semester contract basis.
Responsibilities- Instruct and advise students in specified subject areas.
- Contribute to high quality instruction and student success.
- Participate in program development and collaborate with departments as required.
Expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of the specific subject areas. Some departments or programs may require a minimum degree, license or certification in the subject matter. As required by subject area.
Position DetailsThis is a part-time, adjunct instructor position based in Fairbanks, Alaska. Salaries are set by the Collective Bargaining Agreement with United Academic - Adjuncts, AAUP-AFT/AFL-CIO and may vary based on education and experience.
