As an Orientation Leader, you will play a pivotal role in fostering transformative experiences for new students s position supports and guides students through their college journey, promoting personal growth, academic success, and community involvement. The position will focus its efforts during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Orientation, with optional opportunities over the Summer of 2026.

June 8-11

Summer Orientation:

Preference is given to individuals with prior leadership or mentoring experience, as these qualities reflect initiative, responsibility, and the capacity to positively influence others.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicant must be enrolled as a UAF student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher or a newly enrolled student.

Position Details

This position is located on the Troth Yeddah’ campus in Fairbanks, Alaska. This is a part‑time, non‑exempt student position. New hires will be placed on the UA Student Salary Schedule.
