The Office of Advising is looking for Enrollment Coaches! Enrollment Coaches assist new students during the onboarding process and collaborate with Academic Advisors, Registrar, Office of Admissions, and Financial Aid as students matriculate y deliver exceptional customer service to new students, aiming to enhance their onboarding experience and improve matriculation rates, ultimately contributing to student success and ongoing enrollment growth you an outstanding student who loves working with new students?

- Demonstrate the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, multicultural sensitivity, and effective conflict resolution abilities.
- Be able to work collaboratively within a diverse team and communicate effectively with individuals from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong critical thinking abilities.
- Be capable of initiating, prioritizing, and completing multiple tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with staff, faculty, and students while exhibiting a warm and professional demeanor and a positive customer service approach.
- Be proficient in Apple, Microsoft Office, and Google applications, with the ability to learn new software quickly, including Nanook Navigator, Salesforce, and Banner.
- Be enrolled in at least 6 UA credits.
- Have at least a 2.0 GPA.
- Completed at least one semester at UAF.
This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Fairbanks. It is a part‑time, student assistant position, starting rate of $16.20/hr this is a pooled position, and applications are reviewed as needed. Submission of an application does not guarantee review or a job offer.
