Overview
Rate: To be confirmed (Target: ~$10 USD/hour)
Experience Level: Entry Level (0–2 years)
We are seeking a reliable Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative support to our assigned department. This entry-level role involves performing a wide range of clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, correspondence, phone support, and assisting with daily office operations under direct supervision.
ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Support
- Assist management with daily tasks such as typing correspondence, entering data into computer systems, and filing records
- Answer phones, handle customer inquiries, and provide general office support
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars as needed
- Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and organizing documents
- Assist with basic data gathering, reporting, and interpretation as directed
- Prepare clear and concise documents, reports, and correspondence
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth office operations
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and management
- Support cross-functional administrative tasks as needed
Required Experience & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–2 years of general office work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Technical Skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment (printers, scanners, phones)
- Ability to learn and use other Microsoft Office applications as needed
- Accurate data entry and typing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a detail-oriented environment
- Capable of performing multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Normal office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or temperature variations
- Extended use of computer keyboard and monitor
- Primarily sedentary work with long periods of sitting
