Are you a student majoring in accounting or business, looking to gain experience? Do you want to turn your aspirations in business into realities? UA System Office Finance is seeking students with an accounting and business administration background who are excited to obtain real world accounting and finance experience.
This position is on site at the Fairbanks campus with flexible work hours based on your availability. The System Office oversees all finances across each UA campus and offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in day to day operations in upper administration.
We are looking for students who are dependable and able to work under supervision, have good organization skills, and have general computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. To thrive in this role, you will also need to have great attention to detail!
Minimum Qualifications- A student seeking a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
Applicant must be a University of Alaska student, enrolled and regularly attending six (6) or more credit hours and must possess a 2.0 or better cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
This is a temporary Student Assistant 2 position; pay is $14.96 per hour.
