Status: Full-Time

Location: Fairbanks, AK (In-Office) or Remote

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation: $17-20/hour DOE

* This position calls for some Saturday coverage during peak tax deadlines.*

What You’ll Do:

As a Client Care Specialist, you will be the first impression and the steady support for our clients. Think of yourself as the bridge between what they need and how we deliver it. We need someone who thrives in a client-facing role, loves problem-solving, and can efficiently juggle multiple tasks during peak seasons.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients (in-person, by phone, email, or text) while providing professional, warm, and timely assistance
  • Coordinate client appointments and communications
  • Manage client records and documents — maintain accurate data, upload forms (POAs, e-files, tax returns), process document requests
  • Support tax and billing processes — compile returns, assist with quarterly compiling, prepare invoices, bill out returns, and process client payments
  • Maintain office operations with opening and closing procedures
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ Years proven administrative/customer service experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and in-person)
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Tech-savvy with strong computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe), and comfortable navigating multiple software platforms
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry, time tracking, and recordkeeping
  • Team player eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute ideas
  • Proficient with typical office equipment to ensure smooth daily operations (PC, copier, scanner, phone)
