Student Auditor

Overview

The System Office of Audit and Compliance Services is seeking a Student Auditor to assist the internal audit team with their responsibilities.

• Perform follow-up audit procedures.
• Assist on audits.
• Assist with research on audit topics.
• Follow an established written program.
• Perform account analysis.
• Review for compliance with relevant policy, procedures, or standards.
• Identify and suggest areas for improvement.
• Prepare written summaries that are factual, clear, and concise.
• Communicate audit results using a variety of methods including email, virtual meetings, and in person.

• Junior or senior level student enrolled in a bachelor's program for accounting, finance, or related field.

You must be enrolled in the university system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester. Enrollment must be in a bachelor's program and you must have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or approval from the chancellor or the chancellor’s designee.

This is a pooled position, which means the position remains open over the entire academic year and applicants are reviewed on a rolling basis. The review process will begin immediately.
