This position will support the accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial transactions through a range of entry level accounting activities in an accurate and timely manner and for multiple companies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Work closely with other departments to ensure all business activity is posted correctly and in a timely manner
- Prepare and post adjusting journal entries
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
- Reconcile intercompany accounts
- Perform various cash functions such as bank reconciliations
- Assist with shareholder distributions
- Provide backup to other functions such as accounts payable
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy
- Document and explain entry level accounting transactions
- Meet deadlines, organize work materials, and manage time effectively
- Other duties as assigned
- Attendance of continuing education initiatives, including a limited number of events each year requiring overnight travel, may be required

- Associate’s Degree in accounting and one year of accounting experience. Three years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of computerized and manual accounting systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
