Overview
Hybrid in Bergen, Essex, and Hudson counties. Travel required as clients are serviced in Bergen, Essex, and Hudson counties. Full-time 40 hours. Bilingual: $54,500 + $2,000 on-call.

As an Intercept Specialist, you will provide individualized family sessions in the home and community settings in order to safely maintain the youth in the home. Working with a caseload of about 5 families, you will provide an average of three (3) face-to-face sessions with the family a week in an effort to divert youth from out-of-home placements and to help strengthen the family unit.
WhatYou Will Do
- Provide individualized family sessions in the home and in the community
- Carry a small caseload of five (5) families
- Meet, on average, three times face-to-face with the families to provide support and strengthen the family unit
- Attend 3 required meetings per week (group supervision, clinical consultation, and individual development) for program model adherence, case conceptualization, and professional development
- Complete all documentation related to families, including bi-weekly treatment plans, weekly session notes, and ongoing clinical assessments
- Advocate for the families in any involved system they are part of, such as CP&P and, with the purpose of gathering information specific to intervention development
- Work closely with DCP&P staff to assist families in successfully addressing needs and strengthening the family system
- Provide after-hours support to families using a rotating on-call schedule and respond in-person to some crisis situations
- Master s Degree in the field of social work, psychology, or related field OR
- Bachelor s degree in social services with one-year related experience in counseling or case management
- Bilingual Spanish
- A valid driver s license must be insurable by the agency s automobile insurance
