Join to apply for the Security Aide (Part-Time) role at Fair Lawn Public Schools.
We are accepting applications for the School Year.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to write and complete reports accurately
- Experience in crisis intervention, emergency medical procedures, or related fields (preferred)
- Experience in a school setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of security measures, fire prevention, and crowd control
- Ability to maintain order and work with groups and individuals on security and crisis matters
- Strong problem-solving and effective communication skills with students, staff, and the community
- Proficiency with technology such as computers, two-way radios, access control systems, etc.
Rate: $18.50 per hour
Hours: 29.5 hours per week (maximum)
Shift Times: Flexible shifts starting from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This is a 10-month, part-time position without benefits.
