Quality Controller

Hales Group are happy to be working with their client to assist them in finding a Quality, Hygiene, Health and Safety Controller (QHHSC) to join their team. To be successful in this role, you need to be experienced food safety and site health and safety, trained in Level 2 Food Safety and Health and Safety.
 
Salary - £13.20 Per hour
 
Hours - Monday to Friday, 9.00am till 5.00pm

Duties Include:

To assist the Production and Operations department demands in coordinating paperwork, computer data input, production checks, label creation, fridge checks and perform other duties as required.
To assist technical department in investigating customer complaints regarding any production related internal non-conformance's.
Ensuring company processes and procedures are always followed.
Improving food-safety culture
Championing health and safety on site
Monitoring departmental KPI's and ensuring targets are achieved and improved on and reporting issues to the management team.
To assist technical department with inspecting goods for container shipments.
Auditing of quality management system (QMS) against verification on process GMP, fabrication and hygiene standards such as scales, temperature probes, moisture analysis, bulk Index etc.
Ensuring accuracy of label creation, data input onto computer systems and accuracy of production paperwork
To maintain standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping within your area through Good Manufacturing Practice (G.M.P.) to ensure that both Business and customer standards are fully met.

Candidate Attributes:

Trained in Level 2 Food Safety (Essential)
Trained in Level 2 Health and Safety (Desirable)
Trained in Basic Principle of HACCP
Trained in Basic Principles of Environmental and Sustainability (Desirable)
Good standard of literacy and numeracy and computer packages
Maintaining accurate records
