The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing marketing initiatives that support sales growth, brand consistency, and corporate operations across Allied Resources Group (ARG) and its subsidiary companies. This role serves as the primary partner to Sales and leadership, overseeing high-visibility deliverables, ensuring brand governance, and guiding the marketing team’s priorities and output.

The Marketing Manager supports proposal strategy, client-facing materials, executive communications, and merger and acquisition (M&A) marketing support, while providing oversight and direction for content, digital, and social initiatives executed by the broader Marketing team.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development Support

  • Serve as the marketing lead for the Sales organization, ensuring alignment between marketing initiatives and sales goals.
  • Lead the development, writing, coordination, and design of proposals and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs).
  • Develop and refine client presentation messaging, including slide creation and presentation support for pursuit teams and executives.
  • Support quarterly Sales Meetings through planning, content development, and presentation execution.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on specialized sales initiatives, including industry guides and branded sales materials.
  • Participate in regular Sales & Marketing alignment meetings and contribute to long-term sales planning efforts.

Marketing Department Oversight

  • Act as senior editor and final reviewer for all high-visibility and externally facing marketing materials.
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms and subsidiary companies.
  • Maintain oversight for marketing content developed by team members and external partners.
  • Review and approve marketing content, campaigns, and messaging to ensure alignment with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members responsible for content calendars, blogs, social media, and website updates.
  • Guide, mentor, and support marketing team members by setting expectations, providing feedback, and ensuring accountability.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and partners as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement of marketing processes, tools, and workflows.

Corporate Marketing & Communications

  • Partner with HR, Accounting and leadership on internal communications.
  • Support executive communications, company-wide initiatives, and organization-wide branding efforts.
  • Support client gifting strategies, corporate events, and key relationship-based marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to culture and community initiatives, including volunteer efforts and company-sponsored events.
  • Lead marketing support for mergers and acquisitions, including branding, messaging, and integration communications.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience leading proposal development and client-facing marketing deliverables.
  • Strong writing, editing, and messaging skills, with the ability to tailor content for executive, client, and internal audiences.
  • Experience supporting sales teams and business development initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with competing deadlines.
  • Experience in professional services, engineering, construction, or a related technical industry preferred.
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions from a marketing or communications perspective preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools preferred.
  • Experience overseeing marketing efforts across multiple brands or business units preferred.
  • Adobe InDesign experience required;
    Adobe Illustrator experience required.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, with demonstrated responsibility for strategy and execution.
  • Experience working in an AEC firm preferred.
