Onsite (Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM)

As a Senior Calibration Technician
, under supervision, you will perform duties consistent with assuring that dsm-firmenich products are of consistent and high quality. You will assume responsibility for set-up, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing tooling and related equipment while maintaining a clean, secure and safe work environment.

• Install, set up, repair, calibrate and maintain new and existing manufacturing tooling and equipment. Schedule calibrations utilizing outside vendors/contractors.
• Complete entries in Preventative Maintenance Logbooks and CMMS program.
• Work with manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot manufacturing process problems.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering as required. Also, assist with general facility issues relating to plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services to maintain proper working conditions.
• Maintain non-production equipment, which supports production.
• Organize and maintain spare parts inventory for completing timely calibration/repairs on all equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Two-year technical degree preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in a similar position preferred. Medical Device manufacturing or GMP related industry. Experience in medical materials/chemical manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of various power & hand tools (wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.).
• Read & understand schematics.
• Working knowledge of General Work Permitting Procedure & Processes.
• Proficient written & oral communication skills plus computer literacy.
• Ability to plan, execute & complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

Hourly pay range: $24.00 - $29.00
. The salary or hourly wage scale reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location.
