DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Network Security Administrator to join our team in Exton, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will safeguard our organization's IT infrastructure by ensuring robust security measures are in place and effectively maintained. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our security systems, while also providing support for end users and proactively addressing potential vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities- Administer and configure IT security servers, appliances, and endpoint programs to ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform installations, upgrades, and replacements of security-related software and hardware as needed.
- Monitor security systems for alerts, respond to incidents, and elevate issues when necessary.
- Assess the security of the organization's infrastructure and recommend improvements to strengthen overall security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT security equipment and applications.
- Conduct scheduled security scans, implement remediation processes, and address vulnerabilities.
- Manage and prioritize security-related tickets from the service desk, providing first-level support and coordinating resolutions.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to IT security operations.
- Participate in audits, penetration tests, and disaster recovery exercises to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of organizational security programs and initiatives.
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity, application security, and enterprise security.
- Strong knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with system hardening techniques for infrastructure equipment.
- Ability to evaluate infrastructure security and recommend actionable improvements.
- Skilled in coordinating responses to security incidents and managing service desk tickets.
- Effective communication and documentation skills for creating and updating security procedures.
