Oracle Fusion HCM Lead Consultant

Role SummaryThe Oracle HCM Lead will be responsible for driving end‑to‑end implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle Fusion HCM modules. This role requires deep functional expertise, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams through solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Solution Design & Implementation
:
Lead end‑to‑end implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Time & Labor, etc.). Conduct requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders. Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs. Configure Oracle Fusion HCM modules as per approved design. Lead data migration activities including templates, validation, and reconciliation. - Project Leadership
:
Serve as the functional lead for HCM work streams. Coordinate with technical teams (Integrations, Reports, Security, Middleware). Manage project timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation. Provide guidance to junior consultants and functional analysts. - Testing & Deployment
:
Prepare test scenarios, scripts, and acceptance criteria. Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and cutover activities. Ensure smooth go‑live and hypercare support. - Stakeholder & Vendor Management
:
Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams. Work with Oracle Support for SR creation, tracking, and resolution. Conduct user training and prepare functional documentation. - Post Production Support
:
Handle enhancements, change requests, and quarterly patch impact analysis. Troubleshoot functional issues and ensure system stability. Optimize processes and recommend best practices.
7–12 years of experience in Oracle HCM, with at least 3–4 years in Oracle Fusion Cloud. Hands‑on expertise in at least 2–3 Fusion HCM modules. Strong understanding of HCM business processes and statutory requirements.
Experience With- HCM Extracts
- Fast Forms
- HDL / HSDL
- OTBI / BI Publisher reports
- Integrations (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs)
- Proven experience leading full‑cycle Fusion HCM implementations
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
