Arcade​/Bowling Mechanic Associate

Overview

The Technician is responsible for all the operations of an amusement arcade and/or Bowling machines. The job is to oversee, maintain, and repair arcade machines and bowling.

• 1 hour of time play (non‑prize) arcade games per week.
• 90 minutes of bowling per week (shoes included).
• 1 hour of karaoke/billiards per week.
• 50% discount on food items per working shift.
• 1 free beverage per working shift.

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks.
• Keep a clean and organized workshop.
• Work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Follow up to complete any assigned work.
• Maintain high ethical standards in the workplace.
• Report all irregular issues and problems to upper management for a solution.
• Maintain good communication with all employees and outside contacts.
• Comply with and maintain the confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.

• Strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills, with high integrity and respect for everyone.
• Solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and an appreciation for diversity (thought, ethnicity, gender, etc.).

• Two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.

• Regularly work in a bowling center/arcade environment with high levels of noise, dust, and activity.
• The noise level is usually loud.

• Required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• Required to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times.
• Required to use hands/fingers to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Required to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance.
