• Own and execute monthly close activities with a clear, consistent timeline
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Partner cross-functionally (AP, AR, FP&A) in a collaborative, low-ego finance culture
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Help improve and maintain existing processes (optimize ≠ reinvent)
• Support audits with organized documentation and zero chaos
• Serve as a steady, reliable accounting partner to the business

• 2+ years of accounting experience (public, industry, or a mix)
• Strong month-end close experience in a structured environment
• Comfort working within established systems and processes
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable

• CPA or CPA-track is a plus, not a requirement
