Deputy Manager – The Orchards Residential Home (Wroughton)

We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join Buckland Care's team at The Orchards Residential Home. In this role, you will be the Manager’s right-hand, responsible for monitoring the day‑to‑day operations and ensuring the highest standard of care.

• Support the Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the home.
• Lead the team and ensure all staff deliver the highest standards of care.
• Act as the acting manager when the Manager is absent, overseeing operations, staff, and resident care.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of CQC requirements.
• Manage administrative tasks, paperwork, and communication with staff.

• NVQ Level 3 (preferable NVQ Level
  5) or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 5 Health & Social Care (or working towards) – required.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication skills, approachable.
• Confidence in running the home and demonstrated leadership.
• Administrative & paperwork skills.
• Commitment to providing top quality care; kind, caring, passionate.

• Hourly pay starting at £15.00 per hour.
• Contract employment.
• Mid‑Senior level.
