Oil Collection Driver

Slicker Recycling is a leading provider of sustainable waste management solutions, managing a fleet of specialist collection vehicles that serve a wide range of customers across diverse industry sectors.

We are looking for a proactive Waste Oil Collection Driver on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract based from our Exeter depot. The role involves nationwide waste oil collection from customers ranging from independent automotive garages to national organisations, while representing the Slicker values of being Smart, Honest, Reliable, Together and Fun.

• Professional HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver
• Collect waste oil as allocated by the Transport Office
• Enter electronic information to generate consignment notes
• Maintain compliance with legislation, including driver hours
• Adhere to company Health & Safety policy and procedures
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers and members of the public

• Flexible and prepared to work overnight when required
• Logical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
• Engage with clients and demonstrate a positive customer‑service approach
• Achieve set daily/weekly objectives
• Maintain resilience in a demanding role
• Be a reliable team worker

• HGV Class 2 (Cat
  
  C) Licence
• Experience of tanker work preferred
• ADR licence preferred but not essential

Standard hours: 48 hours Monday to Friday
Basic Salary: £35,561.76
OTEs: £47,000 – £57,000 (basic overtime collection bonuses)
