Role Overview
A committed Accommodation Support Officer will manage a caseload of adult males either residing in custody or living in the community, working in close partnership with probation practitioners to carry out initial assessments, develop tailored accommodation plans and support participants through housing challenges.
Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of participants, producing personalised accommodation plans.
- Carry out initial assessments, considering risk, situation and need.
- Record progress and outcomes timely and accurately using the case management system.
- Maintain contact with participants, identifying emerging risks and concerns.
- Help participants navigate housing challenges and keep them informed of decisions that affect them.
- Support participants’ understanding of their rights throughout the process.
- Work closely with probation practitioners.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

- Competitive salary starting from £25,877 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
