This is a full-time, on-site role based in Exeter for a Plant & Tool Fitter. In this role, the individual will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of tools and plant equipment. Duties include conducting routine maintenance checks, diagnosing and resolving equipment faults, ensuring equipment is operating efficiently, and adhering to safety standards. The role also involves preparing equipment for hire by ensuring it meets operational standards and providing support to customers regarding proper equipment use.

• Experience in tool and plant maintenance, servicing, and repairs
• Strong technical and mechanical skills for diagnosing and fixing faults
• Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organizational skills to manage tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Previous experience in the construction or equipment hire industry is an advantage
