Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician – Vertu Volvo Exeter

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician to join our busy team at Volvo Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing, enthusiastic person with a passion for cars, to join the team.

The successful applicant will develop their own skills in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair work while working on some fantastic cars. You will be working in a Passenger Car workshop within a busy team environment, constantly representing the brand and its values by exceeding customer expectations and delivering an unparalleled level of service and quality.

You will be carrying out maintenance and repair work, and visual inspections of customer vehicles. This will include completion of relevant documentation and working with System Technicians on more complex and extensive diagnostic and repair tasks.

• GCSE or equivalent in Maths/English and one other (Grade 4/C or above)

• All apprentices undertake a Manufacturer accredited qualification up to Level 3 in Automotive Repair.
• Training is held at the relevant Manufacturer training centre and involves blocks of 1 week attendance per module, including overnight stays.
