My client is currently looking for a Water Softener Engineer to be based in the East of England. £28-33k - Plus benefits (see below).

We supply, install and maintain a wide range of water softeners and filtration systems for domestic, commercial and industrial clients. We are seeking an experienced Water Softener Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and installing a wide range of water softening equipment, including Fleck, Clack, Harveys and Autotrol systems. This role involves visiting client sites, diagnosing faults, carrying out preventive maintenance and ensuring installations are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain and install water softeners and filtration systems (domestic and commercial).
- Diagnose and repair faults on a range of systems, including Fleck, Clack, Harveys and Autotrol.
- Perform routine maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers.
- Complete job reports, service documentation and communicate effectively with the office team.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Proven experience servicing and installing water softeners (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Fleck, Clack, Harveys and Autotrol systems.
- Basic plumbing and electrical skills essential.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- NVQ or equivalent in Plumbing, Mechanical or Water Treatment discipline.
- Experience with RO (reverse osmosis) and filtration systems.
- Water hygiene or Legionella awareness training (advantageous).
