About the role:- Research, obtain leads and set up meetings with suitable clients
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process
- Acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities for the network is captured and explored
- Be accountable for all customer proposals, SLA's, contracts, and any further documentation
- Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
- Maintain and update the Company's CRM system
- Report weekly sales activity to Business Unit Director & General Managers
- Efficiently track all new pallet volumes
- Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
- Liaise with the Finance Team, Telesales and Operational departments as appropriate
- Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
- Complaint handling to manage customer expectations and provide efficient solutions
- Previous experience in a sales role within Palletized networking & or Logistics.
- Strong ability to generate and convert leads, with a successful sales track record
- Exceptional customer engagement and communication skills
- Self-motivated, organised and excellent planning skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic and can work on own initiative is a must
- A positive and resilient attitude
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office to an intermediate to advanced Level.
