We are assisting a privately-owned Exeter-based main dealer as the seek an ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER
.
This role requires an experienced and proactive car sales professional who can actively fulfil the full sales process whilst providing support to the Head of Sales.
A typical day could include:
- Supporting, motivating and leading the 3 Sales executive team to plan their activities and maximise opportunities.
- Directly engaging with customers, taking the sales process from initial enquiry through to negotiation and close.
- Second-facing customers to maximise profitability, upsells and conversion rates.
- Devising ways to find and capitalise on incremental sales opportunities – leading prospecting events and rolling out fresh sales promotions.
- Attending off site promotions (such as local / county shows) representing the business and increasing awareness.
- Standing in for the Head of sales at times when they are absent from the business – covering Sales Management responsibilities.
