POSITION: Dior Ambassador
DEPARTMENT: Retail
HOURS: 2 DAYS (15hrs)
LOCATION: Boots Highs Street, Exeter
REPORTS TO: Counter Manager
As a Beauty Consultant for Parfums Christian Dior, you are a brand ambassador. In your role, you are responsible for driving beauty sales by achieving your sales targets while promoting the brand and providing a personalized luxury service to customers. Through your passion for the brand you will demonstrate an attitude that befits Parfums Christian Dior at all times.
Sales- To be an expert on makeup and skincare, able to present and apply products to inspire and gain new clients
- Actively sell Parfums Christian Dior products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers
- Be aware of and achieve or exceed sales targets as set by your line manager
- Actively link and cross‑sell across product categories to increase average transaction value (ATV) and average transaction units (ATU)
- KPI – achieve set sales targets
- Be knowledgeable on all Parfums Christian Dior products and be able to propose personalized products to clients
- Initiate contact with clients and welcome them both at the counter and via traffic stopping
- Develop personal relationships with clients, gain loyalty, and introduce the DIOR VIP loyalty and reward scheme to all clients
- Educate clients on Parfums Christian Dior products and the brand
- KPI – achieve target for Mystery Shopping
- Participate in merchandise management and ensure it is in line with corporate guidelines
- Monitor stock levels, report any issues, and ensure sufficient inventory
- Adhere to all company procedures and policies, as outlined in the employee handbook
- Update the iPOS tool with client data, including all sales and client profile information
- Develop and utilize the customer database on iPOS to build clientele (phone calls, product launch events, and appointments)
- Creative; able to recreate the emotions in clients of what fragrance was designed to encapsulate
- Tenacious; willing to go the extra mile to ensure customers leave with the very best luxury service
- Driven and results‑oriented, seeking ways to continually grow the business through events and counter activity
- Self‑confident and able to approach and engage with customers at ease, using strong selling skills
- Immaculately groomed and presented, embodying the elegance that customers associate with Parfums Christian Dior
- Previous experience in a luxury, consultative sales role is required; experience in beauty and/or fragrance sales is advantageous
