Responsibilities
  • Leading a team that provides a brilliant shopping experience for customers.
  • Working on the shop floor and coordinating activity behind the scenes; no two days are the same.
  • Designing the layout and environment that helps connect customers to the charity’s cause.
  • Being responsible for achieving financial targets and inducting, training, and managing new staff and volunteers.
  • Representing the British Red Cross to a high standard and embodying core values.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Retail experience at supervisory level with excellent customer service and strong organisational and cash handling skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and inspire a team and to get the best out of people.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work to targets and use initiative to achieve results.
  • Proficiency with IT and PC skills.
  • Commitment to the British Red Cross cause and ability to promote the shop as the charity retailer of choice in the community.
