Team Member - Retail

At Rheged we have an exciting variety of retail shops specialising in products rainging from outdoor clothing and equipment, lifestyle clothing, health and beauty products as well as childrens toys and games through to art materials in our design shop.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who wants a career in retail and would like to joinour team. The ideal candidate will have a background in retailpreferably preferably in a similar environment but this is not anecessity as full training will be given.

• Maintain a welcoming, tidy and well stocked sales floor and assist with stock replenishment, receiving deliveries and merchandising displays.
• Accurate stock counts and participate in regular inventory checks.
• Operate the till and handle customer transactions efficiently.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and promotions to ensure we are giving the best customer service experience whilst working as part of a team to meet our sales targets.

A positive 'can do' mindset, great communication skills and ability to work independently are essential for this role as well as excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in fast paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for outdoor products and a flexible approach to working hours including weekends and holidays.
