Due to the continued success and expansion of our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Showroom Manager at Exeter

The Role

To manage and grow the showroom area of the builders merchants by providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring the showroom is well-maintained and presented to the highest standards. You will lead the showroom team, engage with trade and retail customers, and promote kitchen, bathroom, and interior products.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the showroom
  • Greet customers and provide expert advice on product ranges (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, tiles, flooring)
  • Work with trade professionals, architects, and retail clients to understand needs and suggest solutions
  • Design and present layouts using CAD or design software (if applicable)
  • Manage customer quotations, orders, and follow-ups
  • Drive sales performance and meet or exceed targets
  • Train, support, and lead showroom staff
  • Maintain showroom appearance and merchandising to reflect current trends and promotions
  • Coordinate with suppliers and the warehouse to ensure product availability
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records and report on showroom activity and performance
The Requirements
  • Proven experience in showroom sales, ideally in builders merchants or related industries (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, interiors)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and sales focus
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Product knowledge in construction/interiors (tiles, bathrooms, joinery, etc.)
  • Experience using POS and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of CAD or design software is a plus
  • Full Driving Licence
The Hours

Week:1 Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Week:2 Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 Saturday 08:00 - 12:00
