Mint Velvet began when founders Liz Houghton and Lisa Agar-Rea set out to create an unfailingly chic collection of contemporary, great quality staples and elevated fits that they felt were missing from their wardrobes. Feeling frustrated that they couldn’t find anything they wanted to wear, or the great customer service they craved, they started fusing relaxed comfort with glamorous yet wearable fashion trends.

Relaxed Glamour was born.

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store, including opening & closing, stock control and maintaining a beautiful environment for your team and customers at all times.
• Demonstrate outstanding understanding of Mint Velvet’s market position and competitors and use this to generate and act on any ideas, opportunities or concerns that may impact your store.
• Ensure exceptional standards of customer service, including in our Personal Styling offering.
• Achieve exceptional visual delivery which reflects the Mint Velvet visual guidelines; creating a sanctuary of style and service that enhances the customer journey and overall experience in‑store.
• Be proactive in driving your own personal development and continually improving your performance.
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures and run a sound and robust operation.

You’ll ideally have previous experience as a key holder in a fashion retail store, possess a real love of fashion, be able to offer excellent customer service and work well as part of a team. You’ll need to be an inspirational, helpful and informed role model and know, wear and live the Mint Velvet style.

The concept of Relaxed Glamour was born: easy, effortless clothing that can be slipped on to create a luxe look on even the busiest of days.

Known for our easy shapes, beautiful prints and flattering fits, all with thoughtful finishing touches, Mint Velvet’s unique handwriting is synonymous with everyday luxury and quality. The range has also expanded to include accessories, active wear, homeware and gifts all with our signature Relaxed Glamour aesthetic. After a whirlwind of success in the first couple of years, we now have stores nationwide, a thriving website and partnerships with premium department stores.
