The starting salary will be from £28,031 per annum (pro rata if part time) on Grade D, depending on qualifications and experience.

Faculty of Health and Life SciencesThis role offers the opportunity for hybrid working, some time on campus and some from home. The new part‑time (0.5 FTE) post is available from immediately until June 2028 on a fixed‑term basis.
Summary of the RoleThis role will provide general and specialist administrative support on Research Inclusion within the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) South West Peninsula, usually referred to as PenARC. Research inclusion is essential for all projects funded by the NIHR and requires meticulous attention to data collection, data monitoring and secure data storage. The role also involves administration of training events and storage of guidance materials related to research inclusion, positioning the administrative post as central to these functions.
PenARCResearch Inclusion Team
The role is within the PenARC Research Inclusion Team, a newly established team that provides support to all PenARC researchers and affiliated partners. Research Inclusion is a mandatory requirement for all NIHR-funded programmes and focuses on ensuring that PenARC’s research, capacity building activities, staff support and public engagement are inclusive and diverse. The team is managed by the PenARC Research Inclusion Manager and works closely with the Exeter Biomedical Research Centre.
