Marketing Manager
Metpow is the new standard for smart metering in leisure and marina environments. We’ve developed powerful cloud software to give operators and guests a better way to manage and pay for energy. Following rapid early growth, we’re now looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our campaigns, drive awareness and keep our sales pipeline healthy.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and sales team, managing all marketing activity from campaign planning and content creation to event coordination and performance reporting. The role requires hands‑on energy, commercial awareness and a practical understanding of how to turn plans into results.
What you’ll do:- Develop and deliver lead‑generation campaigns that attract new business and nurture existing prospects.
- Manage marketing collaborations with key partners, ensuring joint campaigns and promotional activity are well‑aligned.
- Oversee traditional media bookings across trade press, print, and event sponsor ships.
- Plan and deliver the company’s exhibition calendar, from stand logistics to campaign follow‑up.
- Create and schedule email and social campaigns using Hub Spot or similar CRM systems.
- Implement new AI and automation tools to improve campaign efficiency.
- Produce monthly performance and cost reports, linking marketing data to sales outcomes.
- Maintain the visual and written consistency of the Metpow brand across all channels.
- Profile and segment customers to improve targeting and lead quality.
You’re an experienced B2B marketer. Comfortable taking ownership, setting priorities, and getting things done without a large team around you. You’re as happy working on a print layout or email campaign as you are analysing performance data. You take a measured, commercially grounded approach and understand that consistency and clarity drive long‑term growth.
You’ll need:- Approximately five years of in‑house B2B marketing experience.
- Confidence using Hub Spot for campaign management and reporting.
- A track record of planning and booking traditional media and event campaigns.
- Strong writing and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple work streams and deadlines independently.
- Design or layout skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.).
- Experience maintaining a Squarespace or Word Press website.
- Familiarity with the leisure, marine, or holiday park industries.
This is a standalone position reporting directly to the CEO. The marketing manager will collaborate daily with the sales team and external partners, helping to convert interest into deals while keeping our brand visible and trusted. The split of work will typically be 40% lead generation and 60% lead nurture, but like all good start‑up roles, it will evolve as the business grows.
