Counterbalance and Reach FLT Driver; Dayshift

Overview

SMS are recruiting an experienced Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Driver to join one of our high-profile automotive manufacturing clients. This role involves supporting production and warehouse operations by safely transporting materials, components, and finished parts across the site.

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach FLT to move materials safely around production and storage areas
• Supplying components to assembly and manufacturing lines
• Loading and unloading vehicles, containers, and stillages
• Transporting finished products to despatch areas
• Stock movement, allocation and scanning where required
• Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping, and equipment checks
• Working to set production schedules and supporting wider warehouse tasks when required

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence (NPORS / ITSSAR / RTITB accepted)
• Previous FLT experience in manufacturing, automotive, or warehouse environments
• Ability to follow safe systems of work and complete daily FLT checks
• Good teamwork, communication, and reliability

Dayshift - 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday

£12.96 per hour
