At Hendy Exeter Car Store we are looking for a driven and experienced Used Car Sales Manager to manage a fast‑paced, dynamic used sales department, focusing on achieving and exceeding sales targets whilst ensuring all colleagues deliver outstanding customer service.
You will work alongside other Managers and Directors to ensure the above is achieved and deliver 100% positive customer experience, guaranteeing loyalty and advocacy.

- Balance the growth of the business by providing a positive and cohesive environment for your team, setting clear objectives that work towards the department goals and our Vision and Values, with support, coaching and compliance training to optimise performance.
- Dedicate time to perform regular reviews, critiques, and appraisals on your team regarding their performance, well‑being and attitude, to deliver optimum levels of performance.
- Set budgets in conjunction with available resources and form action plans to ensure success, providing accurate and timely management information, including cash‑flow forecasts and debtor information for the Operational Director.
- Provide, measure, and review key performance information with your team, ensuring maximum add‑on sales and exceeding customer expectations by understanding their needs.
- Ensure 100% positive customer experience by securing well‑presented, merchantable vehicles and maintaining stock management disciplines, with all vehicles meeting preparation standards and stock levels aligning with working capital targets.
