Crèche Manager - Exeter
- Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)
- Salary: £16.70 per hour
An established and well-regarded childcare provider is seeking an experienced Crèche Manager to lead a busy, customer-focused setting. The Role:The successful Crèche Manager will hold a minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification and have prior experience in a senior role within a nursery or crèche environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and leading a diverse, customer-focused team in a highly service-driven setting
- Developing strong relationships with on-site partners, leadership teams, and the local community
- Ensuring children are engaged in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities
- Maint the highest standards of safeguarding, safety, and security
- Leading the planning and delivery of activity programmes and contributing to the ongoing development of the setting
- Promoting organisational values and delivering an excellent customer experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (we can assist with this if not already in receipt)
- Experience working with children aged 3–10 years
- Previous experience building, leading, and developing teams
- A strong background in customer service, hospitality, or a similar people-focused environment
- The ability to develop a clear vision for the setting, supported by creative and engaging programmes
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office 365 and completing basic administrative tasks
