Private Wealth Associate​/Senior Associate

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client lawyer to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team advising a diverse and high-net-worth client base in the UK and internationally.

You will advise individuals, companies and trusts on the full range of private client matters, handling complex and rewarding work while playing a key role in the continued development of the team.

The role offers real autonomy, strong client relationships and the opportunity to contribute to the wider success and profile of the department.

• Advising clients on estate and asset protection planning

• Drafting Wills
  , including tax-efficient Wills and those incorporating trusts

• Creating and advising on onshore trusts

• Probate planning and full estate administration

• Advising on Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters

• Providing residence and domicile planning
  , including inbound and outbound international structuring

• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior members of the team

• Proactively participating in business development and marketing initiatives

• Managing files efficiently and in accordance with Lexcel procedures

• Taking part in departmental and firm-wide training and development

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with 6+ years’ PQE in private client work (flexibility on PQE for the right candidate)

• Strong experience across the breadth of private wealth matters

• STEP qualified or working towards STEP (strongly preferred)

• Proven ability to manage files independently and take responsibility for complex matters

• Excellent technical ability with an innovative and commercial approach

• Strong client management skills with a clear understanding of financial performance

• A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service

• An interest in marketing and developing client relationships

• Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines

• A collaborative team player with strong communication skills

• Positive, proactive and commercially aware, with a solid academic background
