This firm has several offices across the Devon area, offering an extensive legal service to businesses and individuals both locally and nationally. They are recognised as the leading law firm for several niche sectors and acting for trade associations puts them at the cutting edge of legal developments affecting those businesses.

On our client’s behalf we are looking to recruit a Family Paralegal, on a full-time, permanent basis to work in their Exeter office (hybrid working available).

The Role:

You will be confident in communicating with clients and, under lawyers’ direction, will ensure that clients have the information they need if the lawyers are engaged elsewhere.

You will be somebody with strong organisation skills and good attention to detail.

You will have excellent IT skills and be familiar with using software for creating bundles of documents and ideally have used SOS or similar case management software. It will be an advantage if you also have experience of private family work.

Whilst our client is happy to discuss hybrid working arrangements, this role will require the successful candidate to attend the office to meet the needs of the team.

Skills and Experience required:

You will have practical experience of working in a legal role, with ambitions to develop your legal skills in a leading team.

You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and will be happy to adapt to the requirements of the tasks facing you.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate your ability to work closely with team members with the aim of achieving a common goal.
